The Victoria Highland Games Association wants to recognize its dancing members for their support of the organization, their participation in Highland Dance and their dedication to excellence.
In the coming membership year we will be awarding 3 bursaries to our dancing members. Membership must be established previous to the Christmas Fling on December 10th, 2006 in order to be eligible.
The bursaries are to be awarded to the top three VHGA member dancers for the next membership year based on points.
The awards will be based on the total judges points earned at each of the Christmas 2006, February 2007, May Games 2007 and November 2007 competitions.
Any VHGA member dancer from the following dance categories is eligible: Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Premier.
The bursaries are to be awarded, in order of highest points, in the following amounts:

The bursaries are intended for the payment of educational costs for highland dancing, the costs of equipment used in the practice of highland dancing or towards educational experiences promoting highland dance or the Scottish Arts.
