The Victoria Highland Games is a great day of affordable fun for the whole family. From the the youngest t the oldest there will be plenty to keep you entertained, amazed, fed and watered.

We are very proud of our event. We want you to join us for the entire day and revel with us in our Scottish culture.

Kids Entertainment Area

The VHGA is very pleased to be presenting a Free Kid's Area in partnership with USC. The Victoria Highland Games is one of the best values going around for families - especially seeing that children under 12 are free. Here is are some of events for the day:

  • 9-11 Face painting
  • USC.10 - 4 Inflatable play area
  • 11:45 Cape Breton Step-dancing demo (main stage)
  • 11 - 12 Mini Heavy Events
  • 12 - 3 Balloon twisting
  • 1 - 3 Face Painting
  • 2 - 3 Mini Heavy Events

Entertainment Stage

The entertainment stage will be running all day long with the opening and closing ceremonies, singers, dancers musicians and much more. Check back soon for a complete list of entertainment. Check out the schedule.

Concession

We are very excited about our expanded concession options for this year.

Lions Club - Pancake Breakfast with Bacon on Baps, hamburgers, chicken burgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers
Mac's Pies - Traditional Scottish Fare including Slice on Bap, and the very popular Scotch Pie
O'Beans - featuring coffee, tea and cafe style options like wraps

Lighthouse Brewery.The Rampant Lion Pub

The Victoria Highland Games Association features a great Beer Garden where you can sit and relax, and soak up the atmosphere. We are proud to provide Lighthouse Brewery products in our Beer Garden.

We are pleased to present the most curious beer garden entertainment available. Throughout the day you will be able to enjoy great celtic music over the sound system, and foloow the heavy events. In the afternoon be prepared to be entertained by the regimental games of the Canadian Scottish.
