The Victoria Highland Games are happy to welcome the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's) Pipes and Drums as our duty Band.

The 30 plus member Pipes and Drums are currently a voluntary status band of the Canadian Armed Forces. Members comprise both serving personnel and civilian volunteers. They present the most visible element of the Regiment, performing in many of Victoria's major public events.

Over the last few years band members have performed outside of British Columbia in Hawaii, California, Washington State, New Orleans, Memphis, Calgary and Ottawa. The most recent performance highlight was the band's first appearance at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in the summer of 2004.

The Pipes and Drums are led by Pipe Major Warrant Officer Roger McGuire, CD, and Drum Major Warrant Officer (Retired) Jim Smyth, CD.
