The Victoria Highland Games is a wonderful community and family event that is entering its 147th year in Victoria, and we are so proud of our event. Every year we depend on members of the community to lend a hand to make this the fantastic event that it is. The annual outdoor highland games & celtic festival is only part of the story. We work throughout the year to support and celebrate Scottish Culture in Victoria and beyond. In addition to the May games we host 3 indoor highland dance competitions and one indoor piping and drumming competition throughout the year, we are involved with co-hosting two Robbie Burn’s Dinner, we sponsor and run workshops for dancers and pipers, we provide bursaries for local dance competitors and run the Tartan Parade in downtown Victoria. If you have a passion for Scottish Culture and an interest in making an impact for your community, you may want to consider being a member.
All of the people that you see making the Victoria Highland Games & Celtic Festival what it is today – they were just like you once; they had never before brought their talents to the games, and one day they decided to change that. You could be just like them. You could decide to compete in one of the events, sell your goods, perform for the crowds, and share your knowledge. Please peruse this site and make contact by e-mail or the various registration forms.
A limited number of concession (food and drink) vendors are allowed to participate in the highly popular Victoria Highland Games concession. If you are interested, please contact Adele at delilama@shaw.ca.
